This is a lot harder than I thought, making gifs.
Not to mention the fact that I’ve always had a horrible infinity with computer programs, technology and stuff. Sighs. I’ll keep on trying though~
My top 20 favorite singers of all time.
1. Bruce Dickinson- Iron Maiden
I would supposed Iron Maiden is basically the reason why I love metal in the first place. I don’t know the order for the rest of this list, but all I know is that Bruce goes definitely on top. His voice just has so much raw, destructive and revolutionary force in it that, I think, just hearing him sing it’s like you have no choice but to listen to him— he definitely knows how to get his message across. Look into the subtlety on songs like The Number of the Beast, Can I Play With Madness, The Wicker Man or Two Minutes to Midnight… and look how the same person pulls off heart-enamoring songs like When the Wild Wind Blows, Blood Brothers and (his solo project) Tears of the Dragon. I’m a fan of Maiden all the way through, and I believe Blaze did a good job holding up for him but personally and in my heart, he has nothing on Bruce, only because he set the bar high for Iron Maiden.
Anyway this is a really long post, but if I really wanted to say how good Bruce was I only need four words: Hallowed be thy name. Enough said.
